About my 1st Getaway
I'm now ready to blog about my 1st getaway after 1 night of good rest.
Mummy woke me up very early on Tues morning & said we were going for a short getaway to Sentosa to celebrate my 2nd birthday. I had been to Sentosa to visit the Underwater World but the difference is we were going to stay overnight at Rasa Sentosa Hotel this time round.
And I caught my 1st movie in the cinema - Arctic Tale, a story of unsinkable family devotion, unfolding courage and extraordinary survival. The movie follows the two giants of the icy North Pole – Seela, the walrus and Nanu, the polar bear on their journey from birth to adolescence to maturity as they learn about life from their mothers and have to deal with the catastrophic changes in the arctic weather caused by global warming. I really enjoyed the movie.
We took the tram to Sentosa after having our lunch at Vivo City & Mummy checked us into Rasa Sentosa Hotel.
Mummy wanted me to take a nap while they get organized but I couldn't wait to get change & head for the pool. After much whinning, Mummy finally gave in and we spent the whole afternoon by the pool.
After dinner, we rushed to catch the "Song of the Sea" a mesmerizing show with a live cast and dramatic effects pyrotechnics, water jets, brilliant lasers, special computer imaging, bursts of fire, captivating music and stunning flame bursts. It was nice but I didn't like it at all. We left before the show ended as I was fussing non stop.
I slept well with Daddy & Mummy on the King Size bed and enjoyed my breakfast at the Silver Shell Café. I even saw a peacock parade thru the Cafe......
After this trip, Mummy is confident that I'm ready to travel. She's hoping to bring me to either Phuket or Hong Kong before she delivers next year. I'm so looking forward to my next holiday.

Getaway to Rasa Sentosa

2 year old Birthday Celebration
I had a little simple celebration this year as Mummy is too tired to do anything big.It was just going to be Nai Nai, Shu Shu & girlfriend, Jiu Jiu & Yi Yi. A few days before the pary Mummy thinks it might be better for me to have at least have 1 little friend so she invited Sabrina.
Party was supposed to start at 6pm but the caterer was late. Lucky or not lucky, no one arrived early too. Nai Nai came around 6:20pm, shortly after the food arrived.
Then Yi Yi called to say she couldn't make it to the party as she is still doing her presentation slide. Shortly after, Jiu Jiu called to say he might not be coming too. Mummy started to get stress, how are we going to finish the food if no one turns up.
Eventually by 7pm, Shu Shu & his girlfriend arrived with my cake..... then Uncle Jason, Auntie Sharon & Sabrina came.
We proceed with cake cutting & food *yum* then Sabrina & me had some fun with balloons while the adults chat.

New High Chair
Mummy bought over a Jane High Chair from Auntie Mag. . This high chair is quite cool as it can be converted to table & chair. Daddy finally agreed that I need a separate table & chair for me to have my meals. It so happen Auntie Mag was shifting house & wanted to get rid of the high chair so Mummy got a good deal for it.

Strawberry Shortcake
Daddy & Mummy bought me something new today – a strawberry shortcake doll. It’s big… slightly taller than me.
They saw it while shopping & were very sure I would love it. I like it a lot but it was kinda too big for me at this moment. I had difficulty carrying it around so will just leave it sitting on my bed for the time being.
