LOVE Play Dough

Can you tell what's in the picture?

These are Play Dough ... not ordinary ones. These are filled with love & warmth as there are hand made by my mummy. You will not never be able to get similar ones from the store.

I'm gona make sure I handle them properly. Mummy stayed up late last night to make them so I can play with Daddy today.

Thank you Mummy.

Here's the recipe, in case you want your Mummy to make some for you too.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups White Flour
  • 1 cup Salt
  • 1-2 cup Water (you may add more as needed)
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 4 tbsp Cream of Tartar
  • Food colouring

Steps

  1. Mix the white floor, salt and cream of tartar together in a saucepan. Add in the water and oil, stir and cook over the lowest heat. You will need to keep stirring to prevent the mixture from burning. If initially, the mixture seems more watery than doughy, do not panic. As you cook the mixture, it will turn doughy. Don't worry too much about the lumps.

  2. Once the mixture turned doughy and you find it hard to stir, turn off the fire and knead with your hands on your counter top. You may wish to wait for the dough to cool if it is too hot. The lumps will be kneaded off. You can always add a little more flour (do not overdo!) or water depending on the kind of texture you are trying to achieve.

  3. Split the dough into a few portions and add different food colouring. Just drops of each colouring will suffice.
